TALOS ECUTHERM 2 TUBES  TALOS ECUTHERM copper tubes are also available in pair coils under the trade name TALOS ECUTHERM 2. They consist of 2 single TALOS ECUTHERM copper tubes glued together along their entire length, and can be found in 7 different size combinations, which meet all usual connection requirements of air-conditioning and refrigeration units. MATERIAL Copper phosphorus deoxidised, minimum 99.9% Cu (Phosphorus P=0.015% - 0.040%) CW024A, CU - DHP, soft tempered (R-220, safe co-efficient 3.5).

High performance technological product TALOS ECUTHERM copper tubes are insulated with high quality extruded polyethylene foam (PEF) structured in closed type microcells.  The insulation is covered externally by a protective polyethylene coating of three different types. TALOS ECUTHERM copper tubes are available in 25 and 50 m. coils, in two types of insulation material of different insulation thickness, depending on the requirements of the construction: TALOS ECUTHERM PE-X. Insulation with low density cross linked PEF without HCFC and fibrous materials, thichness: 6 and 10 mm. TALOS ECUTHERM PE. Insulation with low density cross linked PEF without HCFC and fibrous materials, thichness: 6.9 mm and 13 mm. Closed-type microcells combined with the protective coating form a single resistance barrier, which provides all required technical properties for any kind of application, such as heating, air-conditioning, refrigeration and other plumbing applications. TALOS ECUTHERM copper tubes are manufactured according to specifications applying in most European countries as well as other international specifications in terms of insulation properties, fire resistance, technical and chemical properties. TALOS ECUTHERM copper tubes have a low ë value, which determines thermal conductivity, and an exceptional µ factor, which determines vapour and water diffusion resistance. In addition, TALOS ECUTHERM copper tubes meet the requirements of prEN 14313 (under approval) of the new uniform European specification concerning (PEF) thermal insulation products made of factory made polyethylene foam for building equipment and industrial plumbing installations.
